| Salon 7 Friday 11:00 - 12:00 Capacity: 260 |
| This session will focus on the initiative for Assistive Technology that is currently in progress in Colquitt County Schools in Moultrie. By putting in place a team of individuals with different areas of expertise, but who share in the common vision of helping all students achieve, Colquitt County is leading the way in Assistive Technology. Recognized by the Georgia Project for Assistive Technology for its informative and helpful website, the ATeam from Colquitt County is moving forward to put in place BEST PRACTICES for Assistive Technology. Recently, the school system was featured in the Don Johnston newsletter as a "School in the News" for its efforts to combine technology, curriculum, and special education services in order to reach and help more students. The presenter is the AT coordinator, who will discuss the ideas and information available through this successful effort. |

I want to share everything I am learning at the GaETC conference this year. The Georgia Technology Conference is a great place for teachers to learn from each other, as well as from "the pros". The posts below will walk you through the sessions I will be attending. Be sure to send me comments if you have any questions or ideas about how to use the technology in your classroom! I hope you find something you can use :-)
